2 ways that this charity help. firstly because of monsoon it leaves something on the ground that makes the ground infertile.  this can take up to 3 years to go away but they can have monsoons 2-3 times every year.  so they developed a way to grow crops on water.  by placing soil and bamboo on top of plants that float and treat the water. no matter how much the water level changes they always have somewhere to crow crops. for a 100m square of water to do this it only cost £8. an £8 donation will feed so many people so they have a constant food source.  also in an overcrowed camp woman need to collect firewood to create fire and cook food. but to get this wood they have to make a dangours 6 hour walk.  they face getting raped and murderd in front of there own children.  this charity have delevoped a way to make a small amount of wood go further therefore decreases the amount of journeys and decreases the amount of people killed. this only cost £1. even a £1 donation will save lives. for more info on this charity go to www.practicalaction.org when i start to sell for charity which i hope to do this will be the charity it will go 2.
