I'm going to try your cut and paste image trick!Did you know a scanner is a digital camera too?Posted Jan-21-07 14:44:20 PST One of our assignments in Advanced Photoshop was to use the school scanner to capture 3D objects. If it can fit on a scanner..it should work! This is especially helpful for small items like jewelry or flat packaged barbies...the scanner, if working properly, should uplight the product revealing clearer, close-up detail. If you have a scanner, give it a go and see if it doesn't do a better job for you! *Tip..be sure to set the resolution to at least 300. Then you can crop the scan to the size you need, but the rule is: The higher the resolution, the more information (detail) scanned. This is a full body shot of a doll scanned at 300
This is the same photo now cropped to show Close up detail:

My Mom passed away this September, and prior to that I was helping her try to get her affairs in order. She was so excited that my husband I launched an Ebay store that she started cleaning out her stash of goodies for us to list. She bought this set of 6 tea cups and saucers, pitcher creamer and tall tea pot. She said it's worth a lot but we never did finish researching it together as her health declined very quickly.
This china is very intriguing and delicate and I've put out feelers to dealers to seeif they have replacements. I cannot find any info on it! So I hope someone in Blogland might have some info.
More pix on the listing : 260032453095

My Mom's good buddy, also an Antique auction hound, cautioned her not to sell! But my Mom's wishes were to get her affairs in order. On a positive note, my Mom took a plunge and let my Dad buy her a computer so she could learn how to watch things sell on Ebay, too. She wished she had started playing on the computer sooner, but you never saw such a eager learner. What a blessing to teach her to play!
Any info would be greatly appreciated,
CSP

I like this quote I just read:
A true friend knows your weaknesses but shows you your strengths: feels your fears but fortifies your faith; sees your anxieties but frees your spirit: recognizes your disabilities but emphasizes your possibilities.

It's so hard to find true friends with the above qualities isn't it? It makes me want to try harder to possess those abilities to be a true friend myself.
What are some qualities you admire in your friends?
I'll look forward to reading your responses when I come home from work today!
Hope you all have a great day,
Colleen Swain Palmer
A man and his wife were having an argument about who
should brew the coffee each morning.
The wife said, "You should do it because you get up first,
and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee.
The husband said, "You are in charge of cooking around here and
you should do it, because that is your jo b, and I can just wait for my coffee."
Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee."
Husband replies, "I can't believe that, show me."
So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says ..........
"HEBREWS"
