Archive - February 2007 Quick Joke ..good for dog lovers!Posted Feb-25-07 10:14:32 PST Updated Feb-25-07 10:25:19 PST LIVER AND CHEESE Three handsome male dogs are walking down the street when they see a beautiful, enticing, female Poodle. The three male dogs fall all over themselves in an effort to be the one to reach her first, but end up arriving in front of her at the same time. The males are speechless before her beauty, slobbering on themselves and hoping for just a glance from her in return. Aware of her charms and her obvious effect on the three suitors, she decides to be kind and tells them, "The first one who can use the words 'liver' and 'cheese' together in an imaginative, intelligent sentence can go out with me." The sturdy, muscular black Lab speaks up quickly and says, "I love liver and cheese." "Oh, how childish," said the Poodle. "That shows no imagination or intelligence whatsoever." She turns to the tall, shiny Golden Retriever and says "How well can you do?" "Um. I HATE liver and cheese," blurts the Golden Retriever. "My, my," said the Poodle. "I guess it's hopeless. That's just as dumb as the Lab's sentence." She then turns to the last of the three dogs and says, "How about you, l ittle guy?" The last of the three, tiny in stature but big in fame and finesse, is the Taco Bell Chihuahua . He gives her a smile, a sly wink, turns to the Golden Retriever and the Lab and says ........ . "Liver alone. Cheese mine." Support the Steve-O-meter!Posted Feb-22-07 19:27:37 PST Updated Feb-22-07 19:28:36 PST Wahoo! Let's support our local blogganeers! To Fellow Blog ARTISTS! Some tips for you...and do you have some tips to share?Posted Feb-02-07 15:01:42 PST Updated Feb-03-07 17:46:35 PST Hey everyone!
I’ve really, really enjoy seeing all the Blogger ART posted here…yes…even the POOP art!
Love, love, love the spirit of creativity, spontaneity and the fun engendered by all of it.
For those of you experiencing growing pains as an Emerging Artist , I thought I would enclose some resources for you to consider:
Finerworks.com (to think larger format, bigger dreams) *Giclee prints (go Barefoot Cajun!) * Canvas (go Clownface Kenny)..etc
*NO minimum order! You can order as your sales commence..I think some of you should really consider a step up from ACEO cards and stationary…truly! Just poke around on the site there are lots of timely tips to consider. For most of you just having the electronic file is a step ahead of most Artists who will pay through the nose to have their art scanned to electronic file/
Cafepress.com (to think merchandise) *Coffee mugs (go POOP art!) *Calendars (go ShelldOn)
A Tip: A recommendation would be that the ARTIST retains the copyright…you never know when something takes off…especially in death, and the copyright should remain in your estate for your family members. Don't laugh now, remember the Pet Rock? Need I say more? (We had a great class about this!)
All the best!
