The pattern name is Avalon and they were made in the 1950's and they are both in like new condition. I picked them up at an estate sale and I haven't had any action on them. If anybody out there knows someone who needs or just wants let them know that I have them. Thanks. I have them at a very reasonable price. Haven't been here for a long time.Posted Jul-11-07 16:08:01 PDT I've been so busy with my flower gardens and summer in General. I have been busy going to garage sales and estate sales. My husband and I love it. I have been buying lots of Homer laughlin china to sell. I have autumn gold, a rose pattern and magnoilia pattern and other odd and end peices. I buy lots of stuff for myself too. Our town is small and its kind of a social activity. We see people we haven't seen for a long time at garage sales. We get good buys and have fun. thats all until next time Shirley Any Crocheters out there?Posted Apr-30-07 15:30:13 PDT Yesterday I listed 4 crochet Pattern books from the 40's and 50's. They have some wear on them but the patterns are all in tack and for the most part the books, They are like pamphlets, are in real good condition. There many lovely things in them. They would even be nice just to display. A few years ago I went to a young lady's house to stay overnight. She had her whole house decorated in victorian style furnishings. What I really liked was the Look Magazine that was probably from the 40's. In was in lovely condition. It was so neat to see the ads for shoes and dresses and other things of that error. I'm sure it was the way her own mother decorated. I loved it. Have a great evening.
