Ebay Scammer Exposed

Hello everyone. Hope all is well. I wanted to provide some input to all Ebay sellers that are new to the game of selling on Ebay. In Dec 2007 an Ebayer contacted me and asked me to re-list an item that did not sell (buy it now). I informed them that I would do it. They paid for the item, via PayPal. The item was a book, mailed out through media mail, USPS. Not even ten days later this person sends me an email, cursing me out and informed me that they were going to file a claim with Paypal. I informed them that the book was enroute and it should be arriving any day. (Media mail takes approximately nine to arrive.) The claim was immediately made by the buyer. The buyer claimed to Paypal that they did not recieve the book and when they would recieve it, it was going to be "return to sender" because they no longer needed the book. About two months later, I never recieved my book back and no contact with the buyer...I was notified by Paypal that the money was granted to the buyer because I did not have a Tracking number, my biggest mistake. I contacted the buyer and asked where is my book. The buyer told me to send money to them to ship it back to me. I was in shock, I reminded this person that when they filed the claim, they stated that they would "return to sender" the book. Also they stated to Paypal that the Buyer wanted no more contact with me during the refund review. So I waited to see what Paypal would do. I honestly thought that the buyer was going to return the book and paypal was going to give the buyer their money back, no big deal. Now, it is different. I lost out in two ways here. Paypal gave them a refund and Ebay just kept informing me of the Ebay policies, after 45 days, your dead in the water. Finally, I just wanted my book back and I contacted the buyer and asked about my book. The buyer informed me that they held on to my book and if I wanted it back I needed to send them money to ship it back to me. I was pissed. I was never going to send a dime to this THIEF and LIAR. We exchanged numerous emails on the issues and this buyer was a nasty, lowlife person. Bottom line they refuse to mail the book back, I refuse to send any money to a piece of crap and that is that. After numerous conplaints to Paypal, Paypal granted me my money back as a courtesy. ALWAYS SHIP OUT YOUR ITEMS WITH A TRACKING NUMBER!!!

P.S. The funniest thing is that this buyer had claimed to be a Woman after "she" cursed me out  the first time...come to find out she is a man, posing as a woman. (Identity Crisis) He goes by an intial name AJV.

P.S.S. I enclosed this dirtbag's emails....have fun.

P.S.S.S. The emails begin in the bottom and works its way to the top. I censored the email addresses, I don't need "someone" to cry about the truth. By the way I am Athord and "HE" is Aval

Shipping should be no more than $3.00 . I charged $3.50 for packing it up and
shipping. Since you didn't open the package because you did not need it, there
should be no problem with that except changing the addresses on the front of the

package. So are you going to "Request" the money through Paypal or?should I
"Send" the money through paypal.? $3.00 Media Mail USPS

I don't know.  I would imagine, it is whatever you charged me for sending a book
that takes 2 weeks, like when you sent it to me.

What is the shipping cost?

What did you not understand in the last email I sent you?

I WILL GLADLY MAIL YOU BACK YOUR BOOK, but your crazy if you think I am going to
pay for the shipping.

And you can say whatever you want, but if you would have just granted me the
refund, instead of waiting 30 days for the time to run out before I got my money
back, you would have had your book back already.  Once you send me the shipping
cost, the book will be back on it's way to you.

Have a great day.

I WANT YOU TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND MAIL IT RIGHT BACK TO ME. YOU HELD ON TO IT
(the cigar journal)?SO YOU HOLD OWNERSHIP OF IT.? FIRST YOU FILED A CLAIM WITH
PAYPAL, THEN YOU HELD ON TO THE BOOK I MAILED YOU?INSTEAD OF MAILING BACK AFTER
FILING YOUR CLAIM, THEN?YOU WAS GRANTED YOUR MONEY BACK BY PAYPAL, AND YOU?KEPT
THE BOOK?INSTEAD OF JUST SENDING IT BACK. YOUR ACTIONS ARE?DESCRIBED AS JUST AS
BAD AS A THIEF OR CON ARTIST. I HAVE KNOW OF EBAYERS PULLING THIS STUNT OFF...
YOU NEED TO MAIL ME BACK MY BOOK.? REGARDS, DAVID
