Most Recent Posts Sellers UnitePosted Jun-28-08 11:02:13 PDT From our perspective, it did not take buyers long to figure out that they now rule the maket place with their threats of negative feedbacks if their requests are not bowed down to. They can not ask for unrealistic demands with the threat of not fulfilling their end of the deal or leaving a negative feedback. To date we have had one bidder refuse to even answer the win, let alone pay, and another bidder who ran up the auction only to make fraudulent claims on the receipt of his item. He can rest assured that as a seller, I cannot retalliate his negative feedback with one of my own. All we can do is leave a positive with less than positive comments. Hopefully reads will read thru between the lines. Ebay missed the boat on this change by making their sellers suffer at the hands of dishonest bidders with minimal feedback who create havok all around. What were they thinking??? After all these years, do they not realize the system was fine? That the system in place worked just as it was intended? Eventually a good seller with 2000 + feedbacks and 10 years of service will just go away and then what can they expect? Do they think the buyers make ebay? Do they not realize that the sellers are responsible for making ebay what it is today? Thanks ebay, you just left the door open for a new, and seller friendly auction site to ultimately take over and a welcome event that will be. Comments? |
