Native American Jewelry

Welll ebayers out there.  I feel a lot better about the bracelets I have for sale.  I met a man yesterday whose name is Tanner.  He is a fifth generation trader with the Navajo and Zuni Indians in Gallup and Zuni, New Mexico. He has worked with his uncle Ellis Tanner for 25 years in the Native Americn jewelry market.  He told me to bring in  any piece of jewelry to him and he would help me date it and he could tell me from which tribe it came.  He did say that it would be impossible to trace the Native Americasn artist on vintage pieces.  I do believe that I have found an expert right here in my backyard.  I am very grateful to him . I also feel very fortunate.

I do not want to put anything up for sale that is not authentic.  He said you can feel proud of these charms and he told me the story of how his family had obtained them from a Navajo gentleman in Galluup. YEAH!!!!! Mary ann from Desert Skye Jewelry

Hi,  Wow what a world e bay opens up for us.  I want to say how great it is to be a part of this.  Look at my bracelets and tell me what you think.  What do I do about the vintage ting.  I can't sell them as new.  I want to say vintage but I can't possibly know the date the items were made.  I know I can't say Native American although that is who made the articles.  I can't trace each piece to its maker.  Wow!! I love this.  Any ideas.  I am listenin g or I guess I should say reading.  thanks Mary Ann
