I loved my dream home. It had everything I had ever wanted in a home. The neighborhood was beautiful. The homes were so nice. Large lots with wonderful trees, I never wanted to move. I was so happy when my new neighbors came out to meet me and they were so friendly. We did not have much in common as happens sometimes. I did not consider this a problem. Time went by and my neighbors who had been so nice suddenly became very chilly to me because I did not attend the parties they often had. Chilly became nasty and nasty became much worse. They did and said the most awful things to me and my home. I could not leave my house without people staring and pointing and spreading visious rumers about me and mine. It really made no sense then and it still doesn't. The visiousness of these rumers was beyond belief. I was often very upset about this and then one day I realized these people did not know me, did not have any idea what my life was about and tehy never would. I totaly stopped caring if they spoke to or about me. It was still rather uncomfortable when I went out in my yard but I made myself do it anyway. I would walk all around the sidewalks just to make sure they knew I was not going to be afraid of them or their rumers. Things got much worse and then after ignoring them for a very long time they ran out of steam. They started to attack one another for lack of any thing better to do and I watched the whole street fall aprt including marriages and friendships alike. Funny in the end they are all so unhappy they try to come back into my life and I will not allow it. I am friendly and wave from a distance. I completely ignored them and took all of thier power away.  I have since moved and I must say being human it was with some relief that I saw the back of the street but I still did not let them win.  The people who bought my house from me fell into the routine of the street and were divorced with in 2 years. Very sad I think.  No one can have any power over you unless you let them even when it is hard and uncomfortable try not to waste a minute or your precious time here on anyone who strives to make you unhappy. That was the lesson i learned and I hope it will help anyone else in a similar situation. You can only talk to yourself for so long so make use of your delete buttons and keep your power.

 A man was going to the county fair one day with a pig under one arm and a chicken under one arm, and a basket on his head. He came to a crossroads and didn't know which way to turn. While he stood there deciding, a young woman approached him, heading the same direction.
      
      "Please, ma'am, I'm on the way to the county fair. Can you tell me which way to go?"
      
      "Yes," she replied. "I'm on my way there, too. We'll go right down this way about a mile, turn left about a mile and a half, left again about a mile and we're right there."
      
      He said, "Wait a minute... down here, turn left and left again? Couldn't we save a lot of time by walking through these woods?"
      
      She replied, "Yes, we could. But I couldn't walk through those woods with you. Why... you might try to kiss me!"
      
      "Listen," he said, "how could I possibly kiss anybody with a pig under one arm, a chicken under one arm and a basket on my head?"
      
      "Well," she replied, "you could put that chicken on the ground, turn the basket upside down over the chicken, and I could hold that little bitty ole pig."

I am in the south so it is eggs, bacon, grits and toast with sausage gravy and bis. on the side. What do you have? I am on a strict diet so I can't have any of it but it is still okay to think about it right? I will probably gain 10lbs just reading this! LOL. I am sitting here watching the rain pour down and no one has even called the shop yet today! Whaaaa Whaaa Whaaa! Ok I am done with my whine! The only people who are coming in are trying to sell me things. I hate it when people ignore the No soliciting signs. They can be so pushy. I think it may be time to invest in a boat! Ahoy Mateys!
