Below is a copy of the letter I sent to your Uk store. I've been having problems with your inks for a while. Each time i contact Abacus-UK my letters and emails are ignored until i send a strongly worded email.

The parcel that contains this letter aslo contained ink cartridges for refund, it was signed for 8/8/06 today is 14/8/06 and NO REPLY.

Maybe I'll get a response this way.

Dear David,
Regarding the ongoing problem with your ink. I am returning

1) UNOPENED 4 CYAN 3 MAGENTA 3 YELLOW

2) OPENED UNUSED 2 CYAN 2 MAGENTA No Ink flow from Cartridges

3) USED DRIED UP FLOW DURING PRINTING 1 CYAN 1 MAGENTA 1 YELLOW


Due to faulty items I am due a FULL REFUND for the above 17 cartridges. As when I fitted Canon cartridges they printed IMMEDIATELY without the need to CLEAN the printheads.

I have emailed you several times about this.
Because I have had to replace cartridges such as item 3 above at least 4 TIMES there have been roughly more than 12 more faulty cartridges.

Therefore the approx total of faulty cartridges is 29

As previously stated using your inks has resulted in my printer requiring 2 replacement printheads. They cost £64.70 each to purchase.
It is the continuous need to clean the printheads because of your bad inks that have resulted in having to replace them.

I am enclosing A4 printing which your cartridges did, several print outs of nozzle checks (heads cleaned in between these printings.) You will see that your inks are FAILING TO PRINT


I also enclose a nozzle check with CANON genuine cartridges fitted and HE PRESTO
ALL COLOURS FULLY FUNCTIONAL. Even without another head clean.

We do apologize for the problems you had.. We do try to keep our customers happy as much as we can, but sometimes it just happens that the cartridges are faulty in some way.. Even with OEM ones you will get this at times. That's why at ABACUS offer a full 1 year guarantee, and we always try to assist and help solve any potential problems. We are sorry for the delays, and the refund was already sent to your account.

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A INK CARTRIDGE DEALER WHO DOES NOT RIP YOU OFF ON SHIPPING, HAS EXCELLENT FEEDBACK AND A REASONABLE SHIPPING CHARGE. I JUST ORDERED THE TRIPLE 2 BLACK 1 COLOR PACKAGE FOR DELL. I HATE THE FACT THAT DELL IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE ONLY ONE SELLING INK CARTRIDGES FOR THEIR PRINTERS. THIS INCREASES THE PRICE. I LOOK FORWARD TO RECEIVING THESE AND WILL REPORT BACK. I TRIED REFILLING ONE AT WALGREENS AND IT WAS A DISASTER. THE PRINTER WOULD NOT RECOGNIZE THAT IT WAS FULL, THE PRINTER KEPT TELLING ME TO ORDER MORE AND THE PRINTER WENT OFFLINE OVER ONE DOZEN TIMES. GOOD JOB WITH AN EXCELLENT - USER FRIENDLY LISTING.

I have purchased 2 cartridges for my HP 932c printer and both did not work, the color one did not print(it was empty) the black one did not print properly. I installed 2 new cartridges from another supply co. and thew both worked. The price is good but not if they don't work.
