I guess I must be the bad guy these days because I seem to be developing a serious dislike for the motoring public in general. I've actually kept a count on the highway of the number of people who do crazy things  in a long list of crazy manners. People who are obviously running late for work or some other activity tend to not care if they live long enough to make it to their destination or not. Driving very fast and quite carelessly as they careen thru cars who are in their way and not caring if they trade paint or not, or even worse DIE... I'm a truck driver and I have the kind of time to take notice of the different species of bad drivers and have even made a rather long list of the varying ways that some people want to become part of the pavement, or a hood ornament for a trucker they just cut off. One such episode happened to me and is related as follows:                                                                                                        I was in Massachusetts last weekend and saw a car sitting in the right hand lane on the Mass Pike and I immediately knew what he was waiting for. He was waiting for me to come close enough to him so that he could slide his contemptuous little fanny neatly in front of me with at least 2 inches to spare. But he didn't just neatly slide over. As a matter of fact he pulled the steering wheel with a mighty jerk, and jerk is the keyword, to the left and crossed the center line and in the process causing another car to have to swerve to keep from hitting him. This guy had 3 other passengers in the car with him and not one of them seemed to be the least bit concerned that the guy driving may be minus just enough brain cells to be considered a thinker. Folks like this apparently seem to think that they are entitled to make another persons day difficult and at the same time not feel guilty about the mayhem they may cause in the process. Ahh.. I may have forgotten to mention that he didn't use a turn signal... an antiquated piece of equipment that seems to be considered unneccessay by 90% of the drivers on the highway these days.

Well I guess it's time to revamp this post thingy that I've been putting off for a while. I've been a little busy, almost like running the miracle mile (only there's no miracle involved). Nothing new on this end... just sitting and waiting for a repair that was supposed to have been completed yesterday. I guess I could work on my website, but that would involve work, and anyone who knows me also knows that I am a lazy man when it comes to completing things that I need to do for me... others are a different story. I'd help ya if I knew you were in a bind. Well I guess it's time to go take a snooze or sumpin'.
