Shipping Matchbox Cars via 1st Class MailPosted Jun-21-06 20:05:53 PDT This post is for all the people who buy and sell small Matchbox and Hot
Wheels collectible cars here on eBay. I am talking about the small size
approx. scale is 1:64. I don´t understand why some sellers charge such
high prices for shipping, I guess they are not smart sellers because
higher shipping prices simply scare buyers away! You can always make a
few cents on a transaction by shipping 1, 2 or 3 small cars via 1st
class mail. The price is low inside the US. Boxes can be obtained at
various office supplies stores in large amounts and you end up shipping
for lower prices than Priority. Of course if you are selling lots, make
sure you use Priority. 1st Class Mail is better than priority for small
packages ( and sometimes faster) You can always insure the package for
a good price and you can let the buyer decide if he/she wants to insure
it or not. So the next time you see high shipping prices on Macthbox Lesney, Moko, Hot Wheels, etc, don´t bid. Chances are you are dealing with a dishonest person. on DaguerreotypesPosted Jun-21-06 19:45:55 PDT Updated Jun-21-06 19:49:01 PDT As an eBay seller I have found many people dealing with photography and
at the same time a lot of people who can´t distinguish between
Daguerreotypes and Ambroypes or even confuse Tintypes with Dags. If you
are one of those persons looking for a place to learn more I will
recommend you read some of the material posted at this very
interesting site
Major Photographic processes.
There you will find links to individual pages explaining each of the
major photogaphic processes and this will help you as you buy or sell
