What is the difference between Lululemon and other athletic wear?
Why is there such a difference in price point?  
Is there value in this brand or is it hype?  

I must admit I was a skeptic at first!  I believed all sweats or yoga clothes were made the same. Why pay $50.00 plus for a pair of yoga / sweat pants?, when another pair works just as well.  What I found out was that Lululemon  Athletica was and is superior for the following reasons:

•    The clothes are sewn so the inside seams are flat seamed, which means that there will be no discomfort or chaffing  (OUCH!!) caused by protruding material or seams rubbing against your skin!

•    Their signature "luon" material is moisture wicking, this means that moisture is pulled away from your skin to the surface of the material and evaporates faster.

•    Practically all garments are preshrunk and will always hold their shape  like zippers not buckling and the stitching stays perfect (doesn't bunch and pull).

•    Practically all garments are REVERSIBLE and have 4 way stretch for comfort.

•    The materials are colorfast, so they won't fade as you wash them.

•    They are meant to be worn hard and washed hard, You don’t have to wash them specially or treat them delicately.

•     The garments last for years.

•    They make you look great, ask any Lulu fan and they will testify that the clothes make you look like you have lost 10lbs.

•    Lululemon Athletic Wear holds it’s value.  You can resell your “loved” Lululemon clothes and recoup a significant portion, if not all of your investment as different people like different styles.  Lululemon puts out Limited Edition styles and each season the colors change .  These colors and styles are sought after as many Lululemon fans have favorites.

In conclusion Lululemon might seem expensive but the quality, durability, comfort and resale value are well worth the initial investment.
