My wife took one look at the stuff and said "who are you going to sell this to?" One dress I swear was made for a 7 ft. tall size 8 person. I've emailed the seller and asked him how am I supposed to sell it? How do you market something of that size? Most of the things are Armani and the retail prices are sky high. how about $95.00 for a cotton t-shirt? At least my Germany and England World Cup jerseys are still selling although at a closeout price. but at least I'll get my investment back plus a little. trying to find a good product to sell is difficult. They were by far my best sellers before, during, and for awhile after the World Cup. I was selling them at a fixed price of $65.00 and had auctions sell as high as $90.00. My latest endeavor is to test the market for Oakley razrwire bluetooth Motorola sunglasses. I get the impression that most people don't even know these exist since I am not getting a lot of lookers. Later today I will be putting up some high end ladies designer clothing and hoping for the best. In time when I find products that sell the best for me I'll slow down my searching for new stuff. Getting started is not an easy chorePosted Aug-11-06 07:34:49 PDT I've only been at this for a few months and my biggest hurdle to date is finding reliable wholesalers of authentic goods. I did very well selling World Cup jerseys that I imported from Malaysia but now I'm trying to unload leftover stock and not loose money. It's a slow process. I've ordered Apple ipods from China and it is taking forever to get them since the demand is greater than production. I'd like to find a wholesaler of ipod accessories in the US since shipping from overseas in relatively small quantities drives the price up too high to sell. I am trying some overstock high end designer clothing that I should receive today but I have little idea of the demand so I'm concerned about that purchase. I'd like to hear how other sellers in my position are dealing with the same problems I am encountering. |
