Most Recent Posts Baby LiliPosted Dec-30-06 21:57:36 PST Updated Dec-30-06 21:58:26 PST Holiday times are crazy! Both of Lili's uncles and
her aunt were in town, and we have been and will be seeing a myriad of family.
Craziness, I'm sure, will ensue. We have a family tradition that all of
us love called a "White Elephant Gift Exchange". I recommend it to
anyone interested in starting a fun new tradition! We bring a gift for
each member of our family that is coming. Some will be nice, normal
gifts. Others will be tacky, crazy, or plain ugly! Used socks, a
package of ramen noodles from college days, a really ugly dollar store
figurine...you get the picture! Everyone draws a number out of a hat.
The first person opens a present. The second person has their choice of
taking the first person's present, or opening a new one. On down the
row...the fifth person, for example, has their choice of taking anyone
else's present, or opening a new one. The catch is that a present may
only be "stolen" three times. So if you choose someone else's present,
and it's the third time, it's yours for sure! If someone steals your
present, you have the option of taking someone elses, or opening a new
gift. At the end, the first person who went has their choice of
anyone's present (except those that have already been taken three
times). It's always a riot. Lilith Grace Holiday Craziness!Posted Dec-19-06 20:18:08 PST Updated Dec-30-06 21:57:52 PST A note about shipping: Unfortunately, I have had issues getting across to my customers (most of whom are loyal, wonderful people), that shipping will be delayed. Every auction has a large message at the top with this information. If anyone has any ideas how else to make it clear, please let me know! Our daughter is wonderful, but unfortunately she is having issues with her formula and other tummy troubles. Often, this may necessitate ER visits or hospital time. We can usually check our email at some point, but please bear with us if the shipping of your item is delayed. As always, we have a refund policy and items may be returned for a refund of the price paid minus shipping. Craziness!Posted Nov-11-06 13:42:52 PST Updated Nov-11-06 13:43:36 PST On the eBay storefront: I will be making another order this weekend, so I hope to be getting in lots of new things! I won't have many holiday-specific items unless they are specially ordered, because I anticipate we will be moving both our household and our business soon, so I do not want to take the chance of any overstock. If there is something you want quite desperately, let me know and I will see if I can order it for you. :) On the family homefront: Well, shortly after I posted the last pictures, I had to have my gallbladder taken out in emergency surgery. So unfortunately, I have spent quite a bit of time in the hospital and not enough with Lili. New picture below, however. We think she's pretty cute. She's almost 3 weeks old, so these pictures are now "out of date". They are from when she was only 2 days old. ![]() ![]() Lilith Grace is finally here!Posted Sep-24-06 07:09:20 PDT Updated Nov-11-06 13:39:40 PST Lilith Grace was born September 13th at 10:06pm weighing 8lbs 10oz and 20 1/4". The induction process took 8 days and was very difficult, ending in an emergency C-section, but we are so glad to have her here! While we are still getting acquainted with our little one, (for the rest of September and the month of October) shipping may take several extra days. Pictures to be posted shortly! |
