Lots of Unique FontsPosted Aug-23-07 12:52:06 PDT Updated Aug-23-07 13:04:52 PDT
We are slowing going thru the 16 trays of antique wood type we recently acquired in upstate New York. There are many interesting fonts. We have just come across one we have yet to see before - Teutonic. This font was originally shown in 1872 by William Page. The set we have was made by M & W Mfg, in Middletown NY. Look for this font for sale this week on eBay, along with a Gothic Special, Clarendon XX Condensed and Teniers (another hard-to-find font). In addition to this collection, we just picked up another lot of type in CT. This one also looks have many interesting and unique fonts. Can't wait to get them all sorted out and out to you. |
