Okay so I have been selling things on ebay from time to time.  I have always come out of it giving my things away for almost nothing and the ebay and paypal fees eat up what little bit I did make off the transaction.  I have been searching the web on how to sell on ebay, but I never find anything.  I am trying to do something to get a little extra cash flowing in the household.  I have two kids so I am not able to get out and work b/c the babysitting fees would be more than I think I could make.  My husband is in the military so we are far away from home.  So relying on family is impossible.

I would like to know how to promote your items.  I have always heard that, but where does someone go to promote?  On the ebay site or just anywhere on the internet?
