Just recently I started to sell items on ebay.  I figured a little extra income to help out when I need it to cant hurt.  I started to my father-in-law about it and he decided that we should go into business together.  Since he has a job he goes to everyday, that meant I would do all the research and price comparison for what ever he or I brought in. And when he was home he would make sure all products worked if it had something to do with electronics things like it.  he also goes out looking at estate sales for ideas.  For me this means I can stay at home with my three beautiful kids, all the while earning an income and teaching my oldest about the value of money and hard work.  And in this day and age thats a good thing.

My cousin got me started about 3yrs ago collecting Energy Drinks.  He came over one day and had this wildly artistic and colorful can in his hand.  It caught my attention pretty quickly.  I started reading his can as he was telling me what different ones they had.  I told him that I was interested in seeing any of the other ones that he comes across.  My cousin knows me so well that the next time he showed up he had about 15 different ones. Between my cousin, my better half, my daughter, and a few friends I now have enough energy drinks to give engery to an elephant.  Bold bright and funny advertising seems to work for me as a collector.

My kids and I love to collect M&M's and Coca-cola related items.  It brings us closer together as a family and opens lines of communication. It also lets me relive my early childhood memories with my children, letting them know that the world was not always hectic and hi-tech, and that someday they will have a chance to expierence that type of world with their own children.
