This weekend I went to my friend Carol's wedding.  It was her second marriage, but his first, so it was a big affair.  She was wearing a gorgeous ivory Vera Wang dress that was ruched on the front and her bouquet was ivory/pink hydrangeas.  The bridesmaids were wearing soft pink organza dresses that carried over the ruching theme.  They each carried vintage purses with a small bouquet.  I've never seen bridesmaids carry purses before, but it was very elegant looking.  I asked her how she could afford such an extravagant wedding, and she told me they cut corners wherever they could, for instance she bought her Vera Wang used on Ebay!  I never would have known.
