| I'm FINALLY Back Online!!!Posted Dec-12-07 08:21:04 PST I DEEPLY apologize to all those who have been trying to contact me or have been wondering what has happened to me!! As you might have heard on the National news, Oklahoma was hit VERY hard with an ice storm late Sunday night!! Tulsa and South was SUPPOSED to be on the borderline for the ice/freezing rain, but that doesn't mean much any more!! The freeze line was WAYYYYYY south of here.....and everyone north of that line was frozen solid by Monday morning!! We woke up to no electricity Monday morning.....and it has been a ROUGH 2 days!!! The temps in the house got down to 46 degrees last night!! All I can say is "THANK GOODNESS for the fact that we raise cattle and have the clothing to feed in REALLY bad weather!!!" If it hadn't been for our thick snow boots and our warm ski suits that we've worn for years out to feed our stock, we would have been a lot worse off!! We have a fireplace, but we haven't used it in over 2 years and had no dry kindling to start a fire with!! We have PLENTY of downed trees around our house, but nothing dry to start a fire with!! It rained straight from Sunday night until late last night, too....and we didn't feel it was a good idea to get out for too long and get our "dry stuff" wet and take the chance of getting even MORE uncomfortable!! So we didn't pursue trying to find something to start a fire with when we had been comfortable enought in our winter clothes and under warm quilts!! It's good to be back online again....and now, I need to get to work!! Please, if you read this first, continue to be patient and I will get to you ASAP. Also, those who have had packages paid for and ready to go out, I haven't been able to print off labels until now. I tried just putting hand-written labels on them to get them out yesterday, but the P.O. was down as far as anything having to do w/purchasing labels, stamps etc.!! They were only open to receive labeled or stamped mail and to get mail out that was coming in!! The computers were still down!! At least now that I can do labels up, these will get in the mail this afternoon!! If you are waiting for invoices....they will be coming shortly! If you are waiting for anwers to questions, please continue to be patient....I will get to them as soon as I get caught up a bit! Thank you for your understanding. Anni
