The sun is shining and I'm feeling good today - wayhay!!!!!!

Just a quick check in whilst I finish my (second) coffee - just to say hi and see how evryone is before i get out in the garden and make some kind of tidying up attempt!! What with all the rain and going on holiday nothing's been done for a while and it's starting to resemble a patch of neglected urban wasteground.

The cat loves it - lots of hiding in long grass and pouncing on passing ankles going on (you'd think, at 12 years old, she'd have grown out of that one by now!).

What's everyone else up to today?

Morning everyone - guess what - it's raining here in Gloucestershire again! Can't get into the city to see my other half's Great Aunt who has electric back but still no running water (Apart from the stuff passing outside her front door! lol)  Nan is also cut off but her care home is above the water - it's just the road to it that is impassable!

We were told yesterday that we may also loose our water supply as they try and divert some to the city so bath tub is filled along with bucket, pans and watering can!!

I am so grateful I live on top of a BIG ol' hill!

Back from hols - had a lovely time down in the New Forest. The sun even came out long enough to get a teeney bit of a tan!!!

Off on hols tomorow - nothing fancy just a few days on the south coast in our little camper with the other halfs Kung Fu Club summer camp! He will be training, I will be (hopefully) sitting on the beach watching!!!

Badly need the change of scenery - can't wait.

I don't even care if it rains all weekend!!!!!

Hi everyone. Been away from blogs this week.

To be honest I've been on a bit of a downer this week. The dull, wet, windy weather has really got to me.

 The 'Grande Summer Fete' I've been preparing for for the last month was a complete washout - literally - it rained loads and my stall was right next to a 15 piece big band who were amazing but too darn loud in the tiny hall we got moved to.  So I hardly sold anything - pooh!

My website has crashed so I got to re-do it.

Ebay sales this week are zero.

My mum has been in hospital to have a hip replacement op. I went to see her last night  - she's back home now but very frustrated coz she can't get about very well but is still trying to do too much!

On the plus side I have loads of stock to redistribute between the local shops that sell my stuff, the other halfs bike shop is almost back to normal after the flood - but we still don't have a till or fax machine and - finally the sun is shining today!!!

Oh - and I won a mystery auction of gezza's candles - can't wait to see what I've got!!
