I was ripped off on my very first purchase on Ebay by Ebay Hong Kong seller Local338 on an Apple Mac video card upgrade. He never sent the item and even had the nerve to file a 'non-paying bidder' complaint against me even though I paid and proved that I sent it to Ebay. UPDATE: Ebay seller Local338 from Hong Kong China changed his contact info & made it ALL BLANK!He claimed I sent the payment to his 'brother' in the payment dispute even though that is his Ebay contact info through Ebay & him that I got. Yeah right. :-( WORSE YET, I REPORTED THIS TO EBAY THAT HE ADMITTED HIS CONTACT & PAYMENT INFO FOR EBAY WAS INCORRECT AND WHAT DID EBAY DO? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! EBAY OBVIOUSLY SUPPORTS HONG KONG CHINA SCAMMERS AND CON ARTISTS. EBAY CALLS THESE PEOPLE 'POWERSELLERS!' UNBELIEVABLE. LESSON? DON'T BUY FROM CHINA ON EBAY! OR BETTER YET, DON'T USE EBAY AT ALL! AND EBAY IS LETTING HIM HAVE NO ADDRESS CONTACT INFO & STILL BE A POWERSELLER! By the way, my feedback comment is from my frustration after not receiving the item and after re-reading the auction and realizing it was a junk knockoff graphics card in the first place that I probably didn't want. That part is my fault. Stealing my money and not even sending the piece of junk is not my fault. Claiming that I sent the payment to "his brother" by mistake is just plain ridiculous! I'm going to try to post the dispute info here next as proof of my story because this seller clearly admits it in the dispute. But, Ebay STILL WON'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE I DIDN'T USE PAYPAL AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT PEOPLE WHO DON'T PAY TO USE THEIR EBAY/PAYPAL SERVICES!
UPDATE #2: I've now found out that the money order has in fact been cashed. The address on your ebay account is not a P.O. Box as far as I can tell. Maybe you should ask your brother if he stole the money.
