Most Recent Posts 2006 in ReviewPosted Jan-02-07 20:26:03 PST Updated Jan-02-07 20:29:20 PST Thanks to all of our great customers for making 2006 such a wonderful year for us. Month after month our sales have steadily progressed. We are slowly researching and adding new products for the Ebay Community to use in their formulations and for resale on the site. As you can tell from our feedback we have also had steady progress in shipping product out to our valued customers too.
In 2007 we are going to automate our processes a little more to help keep us better organized- especially the paperwork that details the products we sell. This will help us get technical questions answered more quickly. Some of the questions we often get are " What particle or mesh size is this ?" or "Do you offer certification that the material is food grade?" etc... Our goal is to get a host site to put our technical paperwork on the internet for easy access. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
Thanks for looking and have a prosperous NEW YEAR!
Arkie-Annie Ebay Live 2006 & Power SellerPosted Jun-17-06 12:13:30 PDT Updated Jun-17-06 12:22:23 PDT We arrived in Las Vegas on Monday. Checked in to the hotel (Excalibur) and spent some time looking around. What a great place to visit.
On Tuesday we went to the Power Seller orientation to learn more about what would help us sell more on Ebay. We are currenlty selling at the silver level and want ( and need) to
get to the GOLD level. WE went to several seminars about writing better listings, taking better pictures, and handling taxes. All of these were excellent. But I think our best time spent
was meeting the pinks, and meeting with key ebay people that work with Ebay Stores, ProStores, and the Scalability booth. We are going to take their advice on many areas - aminly: Better listing content; Less font and color changes in listings; More automation (aka Selling Manager Pro) . These are just a few of the items we discussed.
Other things we worked on while we were there- Getting information from PayPal and the USPS about technical problems we have with their sites . We are MAC users and wanted to know if our problems are /were related to using a MAC. We have problems with shipping international and filling out the forms on their website for example (USPS) and as far as PayPal we have problems some of t he time with all of the data from listings not migrating to PayPal so we can do our shipping correclty (we ship 1 item per PayPal invoice/receipt but buyer bought 2 of the item and it did not list it correctly for example) . I don't think we have that one solved yet.
A big POSITIVE shout out to everyone that helped us ! THank you so much. Especially Kaj in the Ebay stores area. I hope we we return next year to Ebay Live in Boston we are SOLID GOLD power sellers using all of your tips!
One more thing- we loved the ending Gala. Great bands, great Elvis impersonators, performers and of course Huey Lewis and the News. It was fantastic.
See you all in Boston.
