Things that make me go hmmmm

It amazes me watching sales both in auctions, fixed price on my other internet store that you can have a high number of watchers or people looking at your site and still have slow sales and at other times the number of the number of page views drop a bit and the sales go up.  I have heard that internet sales only capture about 10 per cent of the buyers who check your store/site and my store statistics seem to prove that out.  What happens to the other 90 per cent?  Why don't they buy?  Hummmm.

I read on the blogs it may be the competition seeing how you do with your work, I always think when I have loads of watchers that the same person has logged on to loads of different computers and is watching this one item, not very likely but it keeps my spirits up. lol

exactly, according to my traffic report, I have over 150 visitors in one day, and less than 10 bidding, where are the rest?

I also have lots of looky-loos and a smaller number of buyers/bidders. People like to look around ebay and compare prices. "Just browsing, thank you."
