BEWARE of FRAUD SELLERS

Plastic=gemstones?

I don't feel that paypal does enough with the dispute center to help keep fraudulent sellers from using ebay. Jewelleryshow sold me a plastic necklace and plastic earring that were advertsied a Geniune Russian cut Gemstones. I was over charged on shipping, she said she didn't combine shipping so I paid $18.00 to shipp the two items. Two weeks later when I received the package from Jewelleryshow, there was two items in the one package, the necklace and the earrings. She shipped the items for $13.00 less than I paid! I also found that they were plastic! I filed a paypal complaint but paypal did nothing to help me. So because of this Jewelleryshow is going ot continue selling palstic as gemstones, you can see that this is a contining problem with her, she gets atleast 2-3 complaints  month about her stones being plastic and not as advertised!
Jewelleryshow=Fraud + Plastic!

It says "Gemstone type: White diamonds and Aquamarine (Russian cut Gemstones, Amazing clarity and shimmering facets)" So how do you read that wrong, it says nothing about plastic.

Also I started with ebay and they referred me to paypal's dispute center, is there anything else I can do?

after looking at it i would have been hesitant just because of the price. if it was natural gemstone they would be more expensive. I think you can report them to ebay for false advertising but it probly won't get your money back.

So this is my fault, for the price being low? I've bought several diamonds for $5.00 that I had no problems with. Often items don't get bid on or people over look them so they go cheap, that's what I thought with these pieces, at the time I didn't think anything about. Aquamarine is usually cheap anyway.

EBay needs to do more to help the buyers. Most of the sellers delay the transaction when the item doesn't go for the price they want, they list the item inaccurately, they don't purchase insurance for shipping even though the buyers purchase it, people are selling CD's that are for promotional use only and state not for retail or resale, and ebay does nothing about any of these. When a buyers pays for an item the same day the auction ends, the sellers should have to ship the product within 2-3 days, not 2-3 weeks as most the buyers I have used have done.

I bought a camera as my second transaction on ebay, I paid the same day I won it, and purchased insurance for. When emilyandlilly shipped it they did not purchase the insurance, and they waited 2 weeks to ship the camera. I bought a box of new picture frames for a few dollars and paid for them the same day the auction ended, the sellers waited 2 weeks to ship them to me. Her ad said she was in the US and estimated shipping to take 7-9 days, and I didn't even get shipping confirmation in that time! 2 Cd's I bought were illegal to sell.

So according to most of you people, if the price is cheap it's my fault for that the transactions when sour?! Well that not entirely fair, I'm not the one who is posting items wrong, holding shipping off for weeks, and not purchasing insurance when it's already paid for, and I'm not the one who is selling illegal items on ebay. One person said "have to red the small stuff" but I always read the ads and I feel that I should be able to believe the ads because ebay is doing their job and monitoring these things. If you can't believe any of the ads then how is ebay still in busi

Is it right that ebay gives always give the sellers extra leeway? I feel it is NOT right! Some other buyers I have talked to have had similar problems and ebay did nothing to help them either. If ebay isn't going to regulate the postings, the users, and isn't going to put more rules on the sellers to help the buyers get their items as described, in an orderly fashion, and help make sure he shipping prices are fair as well, then I don't see ebay being successful with new users, such as me.

So according to you all NO ONE Should buy a diamond on ebay, because most of them are a couple hundred to a thousands of dollars lower than store and book prices. Right? Isn't that what your telling me? I mean most of the diamonds on ebay are not great quality anyway but even those that are I in clarity and lower than I in color are too cheap to be real? Almost 96% of the diamonds are under book and store price so does that mean that every diamond is fake on eBay?

WOW! I'm brand new to ebay and after reading this I don't know if I want to buy anything from this site. I see that everyone except ash is a seller so, of course your going to say it's her fault. Why are the sellers trying to be scandalous? If you want to make money and keep your name out of negative blogs then maybe try being honest! Apparently, I can not believe the postings, or trust the sellers to ship my item fast, or even purchase the insurance I might buy.

That makes since, if it's cheap don't bid on...........So the diamonds on eBay never sell then? The electronics must be fake to.... they are to cheap to be real as well in most cases.
