Anyone remember...

That woman who brought a computer game off me and didn't want to pay for it. Well she eventually said she'd pay for it, now its been 2 weeks and she hasn't so i filed an unpaid dispute claim & now she says she is bankrupt and cannot pay - which is a lie because a few days after she brought my item, she recieved feedback for an "extremely quick payment" on the exact same sims game. She obviously never intended on paying so I closed the dispute, leaving her with a strike on her account, people like her shouldnt be allowed on ebay! It makes me incredibly angry!!

Blonde or brunette?

Nothing to do with ebay I know, but I just want some advice :)
I wanna dye my hair, but I don't know whether to go darker, or lighter. Atm I have a weird sorta colour growing thru and my ends have gone red from when i had a purple in, what do you think?

(Ignore my boyfriend in the photo, its just the most recent photo and it gives a real indication of what it looks like)

Ebay help??!?!

I had a Sim's game uploaded and the postage price was $10, and had been all along. An ebay user bidded on the item, won it, & then messaged me asking me why the cost was so high of the postage. I explained to her instead of her suggestion of just chuck it in an envelope I buy a box for it so the contents dont get damaged and because I live in rural Victoria the costs are a little bit extra.

Anyway, she then wrote back to me:

"it seems a lot still, sorry but i have to be honest, i thought the cost may change if i won, u could send it wrapped in a pre-paid bag, its just that i can buy this brand new for $15.00, so can you please give it to the next highest bidder, thanx"

What do I do now?!

I mean the postage price was clearly stated the entire time she was bidding?

Today my heart has been broken. What kind of world is this?

I read the story of a poor rescue dog in Valencia, Spain, who was sexually abused and brutally murdered when her shelter was attacked by vandals. The minute I read Regina's story and looked at the photographs of her battered body after she was tortured, I knew I had to think of something to do to gain justice for her death and encourage Spanish authorities to implement animal welfare laws and punish animal abusers.

This is a story of a dog. A stray. Not that much different to any other street dog in Spain. Until one day when she was rescued off the street by a shelter, one of only a few that exist in Spain as they have very little sympathy for animals and consider the strays as rubbish. For the first time in her life she was shown kindness and security. The name of the organisation was the 'Protectora de Animales de la Ribera' "RIBERCAN". They named her Regina. She was a mastiff cross around 5 years of age.

A brief overview of what happened; The shelter had been subjected to vandalism and break-ins in the past, but 5 weeks ago, the night of 29th of May 2008 was going to be different. On this night, a person or persons broke in to the shelter. They destroyed several fences to get in, and smashed cages. Then they found Regina. Regina was a timid dog, scared and easily afraid and would have been such an easy target. Again, I will not go in to details, but they tied her legs, sexually assulted and violently raped her before torturing her to death.

These facts are true. I have the photos of the crime scene and of Regina's battered broken body.

I think the worst part of this situation is that there are NO animal protection laws in Spain. So whoever is responsible for this will never be caught, and never be punished. Although the shelter rang the police they didn't bother to investigate. In their opinion, it was only a dog. Another downturn in this is that the shelter will almost certainly close as the volunteers are so scared for the remaining dogs safety, but they have no-where for them to go.

Through the compassionate efforts of animal advocates, activists and members of the public world wide, I truly believe we can help to gain legal justice for Regina and support the courageous shelter staff who are protecting the remaining dogs in their care.

Anybody else here a vegan or vegetarian?

Just wondering.

:)
