If everyone in the world has an Ipod but me, why does it take forever to find one on Ebay for a low price that isn't broken?

Anyone else try and find an item for a resonable price and take forever to find and then once you find it the price goes up within the last 5 minutes and you lose it? I guess this is just a place to share your crazy stories cause I've used Ebay for no more than 12 hrs now and it already consumes my life it seems.
