More great items to sell, check it out, flash drives, GI joe, and will be putting up a golf club putter soon... I miss the hustle and bustle of selling on here. But regular life got a bit busy ... anyways, just commenting on being back in the game and looking forward to retirement,, lol yeah right... Let the games begin!!!! Selling on ebay: marketing a printer...Posted Feb-07-07 13:07:10 PST Ok. now that I am making this a weekly thing, one thing I noticed is that it is difficult to market what you are putting up for sale, especially against the big ebay stores. This reminds me of when the local swap meet was taken over by the professional vendor. Does anyone have a good way to market your sales on here so that you get the buyers to your sight. I have a nice new photo printer on sale now, but very few lookers. Is this another case of having to spend more money(marketing) to make money ? well thats my rant for now... Thanks for reading.. Question for Current ebayersPosted Feb-01-07 09:48:51 PST Well I'm officially an ebayer now I think, I sold some used Hi-tops in good condition. None of my friends can beleive it.. But I tell them, There is someone out there for everything, the key is to find that person :) But hey its all good. I have been collecting items to sell, buying other things on here that I can really use and can't live with out lol (note sarcasm) but the big question I have for you fellow ebayers out there..... How do you go about getting your feedback from those you buy from or sell too. Seems to me that should be a major requirement since that score is how you are judged on here. I have had several transactions the past month where the feedback for me has not been given. Even after 2-4 weeks. Is it proper ettiquite to continue to write these customer or sellers and ask for it? or do you just wait patiently and hope it shows up someday? I just want my star :( Oh well, thats my whine of the week, just curious what others thought and what technique they may use....thanks for your responses.... ~Gil Another year another dollar :)Posted Jan-19-07 08:51:53 PST well Im off an running again, Just listed a couple items and testing the waters. Heard that people buy good used clothing or shoes, so I had some rarely used hi tops I thru on there,, and older PDA just lying around, I expect to retire this year :) LOL...ok stop laughing... anyways,,, check it out... you never know... Let see what this year brings, I think I've seen it all but I'm sure thats not the case ....til next time... new week, new day, new questPosted Dec-28-06 09:38:10 PST Well here we are at the end of the year.. its been a great experience on ebay... I've been checking out this partnership thing on ebay marketing, so far no takers, but hey if it works great... if you want to link with me check out the marketing tools. Let you increase hits to your site... Well I hope you all have a great new year,.,, I got one more sale going on before the end of the year... I gotta buy something and maybe I will get my star :) Have a good one. adventures in eBay part nextPosted Dec-19-06 11:48:38 PST Well another day another dollar spent.. :) guess I wouldnt get the whole ebay effect if I dont experience possible lost package? So what happens with that? I have the tracking number but it has been 7 days instead of 2-3 priority... Guess Im wondering who is at fault when that happens. I havent even reached my star yet and I think I have experienced so many things... fraud sales, no pay, relisting, second chance, whew.... Oh well its still all fun and games til somebody gets hurt, oh wait thats what mom said about wrestling... I hope you all have a great Christmas and I don't wanna see your gifts being sold on here hahaha ~Gil Adventures in eBay (continued...)Posted Dec-11-06 06:49:56 PST Well I just sold the first digital camera I ever owned. It was bitter sweet...but Im sure I got more for it then I would in a yard sale.. Now my first 35mm camera is on the block...Its great to be able to get some cash outta of these items that have been in my closet for a while. My adventures on eBay have seemed to settle down from my first couple weeks, things are steady now. Slowly building my score and just buying and selling and staying a float on here haha I may have to start hitting yard sales for big eBay selling items... Im beginning to believe you really can find "IT" on ebay haha... I actually saw a "Lexus" emblem on here, which my daughter really wants... I couldnt beleive it LOL... Well gotta go check my auction and see how many hundreds are bidding on it hahaha, guess now I have to figure out marketing on here and how to increase visability for my items.... Till next time on "adventures on eBay" ~Gil |
