A COWGIRL KNOWS HER WRANGLERS OR LEVIS FIT JUST RIGHT IF.......Posted Mar-25-08 15:41:41 PDT Updated Mar-26-08 11:42:14 PDT

WESTERN STYLEPosted Mar-24-08 19:45:33 PDT Updated Mar-26-08 14:22:39 PDT I live in Alberta, Canada and have dressed 'western' for 25 years although I've worn blue jeans much longer than that. When I bought my first pair of cowboy boots though, I was smitten and so my wardrobe has evolved into 'cowgirl fashion'. I started with cowboy boots, jeans and shirts but then I decided to wear suede, leather and denim skirts with them, and so, I was no longer a weekend 'cowgirl'. I dressed western every day when I taught school! To get ideas I purchased a magazine called, 'Western Syle' but it is no longer published so now I read 'Cowboy and Indians'. Finally Canadian Western Shops started to offer dressier fashions for women so I added several broomstick skirts to my wardrobe! I like to think 'outside-the-box' so several of my pieces of clothing and my accessories are not purchased in Western Clothing Stores. In my Auctions and my future eBay store I plan on listing several pieces from my 25 years of wardrobe building. Already, I have a red broomstick skirt, a black satin shirt with white fringe, and a turquoise leather western belt selling in auctions ending March 31, 2008. In my BLOG I wish to share 'western fashion tips' but I also wish to include some 'fun' stuff ....and so my next post will be 'A cowgirl knows her Wranglers or Levis fit just right if....' |
