Archive - July 2007 Ever Let Family or Friends Buy Something Using Your eBay Account?Posted Jul-05-07 05:59:45 PDT I never did before, but I recently did for my
nephew. Usually, if someone ask me to buy something for them
through eBay, I wouldn't do it. Instead, I'd point them towards
getting their own eBay account. My nephew has been very helpful, and supportive, during a recent difficult time in my life. eBay first came onto his radar when he took packages to the post office for me. Then, he began checking out eBay for items that interested him. When he found an item, he asked me to purchase it. I was glad to do so. Then, he found another item he wanted, and another item he wanted. He paid me back for all the items I purchased. The other day, my nephew decided to get his own eBay account - primarily because his auntie don't snipe. I've been teaching him about being a good buyer on eBay. I went from doing a favor for a favored nephew, to becoming his eBay mentor. You are welcome eBay. Have you had friends and family ask you to make eBay purchases using your account?
