I note that a lot of us out there are using ebay to earn income so we can survive and make contact with people- as in the world outside our window!. PLEASE- if you or a fellow ebay member is disabled, let us join together as a support group. Perhaps we can raise awareness of certain problems, assist others when we can. Find solutions together. Let us know you! If you sell, we can all join a circle of possible cross promoting one another! As I tell my friends, " I feel like I am trapped in this plasma body that just wants to irritate the living daylights of me, out!" Do not give up, let us all become a voice to one another. You never know whom you help by words of wisdom and complaints that may let another know they are not alone! Life is strength of being able to LIVE! I sure look forward to reading your letters, words of wisdom, and feel free to know I really care ! ebay is my window to the World! God Bless you!
TIA mini strokes forumPosted Dec-09-06 08:32:06 PST TIA is a form of stroke that over time can lead to " THE BIG ONE". Often, we survivors are left scared with no direction for coping skills. As a stroke and TIA survivor , I am looking for men and women in the same situation to offer their stories and how you cope everyday. Did you know that stress is one huge factor? Stress is such a " one size does not fit all word." Tell the World you story, let us share to bring to the table do's and dont's . My first one was at 42 years young. We started on ebay to sell unwanted items around the home, and enabled me to rehabilitate my verbal and spelling skills. I have found ebay is the true window to the world , and most members are gems that I have the pleasure to email back and forth. If not for ebay, I may be unable to think or spell. The keyboard looked unfamilar. I did loose my career , physical and web skills , but at least I have gotten back on the horse, even though I fell off into a cavern! If you are not a " victim", maybe you are a caregiver. If we all share our stories , we can hopefully raise awareness of this horrible THING that attacks our brain, nervous system and general skills. Include some humor , too! When I had my first TIA- or mini stroke, I could not speak , nor understand what anyone was saying to me. But the funny thing is, I had to move into a relative's home, and all I did was vaccumn. Matter-of- fact, they thought I was going to destroy the carpet with the constant activity. But hey! It was clean! ( and I despise housework) NOW that is FUNNY!
