I would gladly slap down a few extra dollars at the checkout aisle if Hasbro would raise the bar on the quality of the Marvel line. Ever since they ante up the  money to acquire the rights to the Marvel line, the figures do not meet my standards. They are smaller, less articulated, no added extra value like a comic book or wall mountable display and the build a figures are smaller. Inflation is here and Hasbro has to make some hard decisions on marketing the line. But they could charge a little more, market the line to the retail giants as a exclusives in exchange for a higher asking price, cross promote the line by including advertisements. And if compromises are necessary, they do without the claim shell packaging and the free comic book to cut costs, but keep the quality everywhere else. Since Hasbro relaunched the Marvel Line, I have not purchased a single figure and I'm not sure if I will ever be excited about the product line again.
