tomatoes! Been watching the cooking shows on PBS's Create, and they are
using all the fresh herbs, etc. I do have a few pots of herbs in the
back yard, but the mosquitos are voracious,and attack as soon as the
door opens.............but we heard of a new spray that is really good
and will try it. Sandy Labor Day WeekendPosted Aug-30-08 18:52:57 PDT Hope everyone is having a great celebration.........we have family visiting, and have spent some time at the beach and fishing. No big fish caught, but we did see a HUGE black drum on the pier last night. The guy had to throw it back; not quite big enough. Got 2 pairs of boots to list, and more handbags and shoes. Thinking of other designer and artist blogs that I have read. Seems that the hardest thing is to get started on a new painting or art piece....distractions keep getting in the way. Was working on roses the other day, shabby chic-style, and made one small oil painting that I love, using thick impasto pinks and yellows, so cheerful and appealing. Got to finish up the vase part, and work on shadows. Please come back and post your comments! |
