Bristol Wrought Iron has been trading since sept 2007.

I have been in the wrought iron industry for 15 years since leaving school. I started with my father and then went on to work for various company's. Work I have under taken is very broad i.e helicopter landing pads for trinity house (lighthouse) to complete restoration of victorian bandstands, various reproduction victorian gates.

All my work is made to order with solid steel (no cheap B&Q items here). My steel ranges from 12mm square, round, twisted bar upto 25mm.

Gate frames are various sizes depending on the pattern and measurement of the opening. i.e hollow box 25x25x3mm for a single gate and double gates upto 8ft opening. 50x50x5mm for double gates right upto15ft opening. 100x100x8mm for a larger sets of gates. Flat bar ranges from 25x8mm upto 60x15mm there are smaller guage steels but I refuse to use any smaller than 25mm.                                     

Patterns are so various there are many to choose from. most of my customers Design there own or they can pick from my catalogue. quotes are free and if your local I will come to your home measure quote and fit for free.
