Hopefully back on 2 September for the Christmas Rush..................... and I forgot we've got Halloween first, so better stock up on witches and beasties and all things that go bump in the night!!!!! Things can only get better! Closing the Shop for the HolsPosted Jul-23-08 01:58:24 PDT I can't believe I've just opened my shop and now I'll be closing it for the holidays. It's certainly been a huge learning curve, but I love it. Having just retired from a REALLY stressful job, this is great. I just feel a bit sad sometimes that there is so much negativity about. All jobs have there ups and downs and I guess this is no different.Still, for everyone leaving, new people are coming along. The best part for me is packing the parcels up and sending them on their way. Something happened this week which really cheered me up. I had over estimated P&P, I contacted the buyer and offered to refund the difference, which was £3.50 and he told me to have a drink on him!! The next best thing about this job, is I have met so many genuine nice people. So if you are getting down, think about the positives. And, if you are really lucky, you may even make some money ( and there's no-one looking over your shoulder) Thought for the week "Make friends with the staff in the post office." Here ends my ramblings of the day. Must be the weather! |
