Dear friends,
 For
Arizona, summer starts in April and usually ends in November. So I find
it humorous that the "FALL 2007" Trend Report is out and on the runways
also. Though, the Fall look is amazing and it's been a long time since I've been excited about what I see coming. Lipstick
in bold hues is back, big time! Very classic makeup meaning bold liner,
full brow and strong lip color mixed with the opposite! A nude face,
barely shadowed eyes, sheer lips and both looks featured amazing,

Get your reds ready!

 I personally wear gloss all the time...but...since lipstick is back I"m breaking out my favorite reds.
Here's my top 5:
1. Arbonne "Celebrity"
2. Lorac "Explorer" otherwise known as Satine's color from Moulin Rouge
3. Chanel "Matte Cherry" 4. Dior Addict 753 and last but not least 5. Aveda Uruku

2. full brow...wax stroked on with a spoolie over the shaped hair
3. two tones of shadow: linen to highlight and light brown to contour
4. liquid liner on top
5. smudge of light brown contour on lower lash line
6. white pencil on the inside...go retro!
7. fully lined mouth in matching color of lipstick
8. bright bold red lipstick.
9. no gloss.
10. translucent powder all over

Thank

Get ready to do some homework! I was asked a really great
question about the difference between mineral oil and
mineral makeup?
Good question: one is made from a petrochemical base
and the other comes from gems in the earth!
The two are totally different! Now..heres' the tricky part...some
cosmetic companies use a mineral oil BASE in their mineral
makeup! Eeewww, in my opinion.

Makeup University.com weekend makeup secret . . . wear false eyelashes!

Taking off for a quick Vegas weekend? Going to the beach? Just out for dinner? Put your lashes on!
The best ones are Ardell, $3 at the drugstore.
Buy the extra tube of clear glue because the little sample packet will dry up quick!
1.Pull one lash strip off, add a good thick line of glue onto the lash strip.
2.
Line the lash strip at the end of your eye, tack down in the middle,
and press into the corner. Use an orange stick or toothpick to press
the strip into the eyelash line. Keep your eye closed during this
process. I find that it helps to use your ring finger to pull the
eyebrow up a bit, while pulling the eyelid closed to make the space
between the lashes and lid skin open up. The glue will look white until
it dries.
Once they are in place, do not move or adjust them
because the glue will leave a residue and if you try to re-glue, then
you have a dried line of glue to work over.
One pair will last a
week worth of wearing. At the end of your event and you want to remove
your lashes, while washing your face, rub your finger along the lash
line and loosen the glue. Gently pull the lashes off, rinse them, and
put back on the plastic tray they came in.
Enjoy...these are fun to wear and it takes a little practice, it's worth it!
