Kook has arrived safely in NJ from CA!

She made it in time for the BBQ this weekend.

I am at work so have not opened the box yet to set her free.

Titles can be deceiving!

So looking for a CD - a lot of them were $1.00 with crazy shipping

Then I came across one with a title that included 2 CD, implying a set. So I clicked it open and the shipping was very reasonable...however it says in the description - only has one CD AND doesnt even tell you what is on the one remaining CD.

The good news is...

Donnie is okay after a short visit to the ER,( 4 stitches under his chin - he fell this morning at home, hit his chin on the corner of a wood toy, while I was trapped here over 2 hrs away at work).

The bad news is no pool for a week - that is going to be tough!! He loves to swim at daycare and this Saturday we are going to my sister's for a BBQ Pool Birthday party for his cousins.

He is now at daycare, Daddy is leaving for work soon and I have to wait till 1:40 now for a train to get back west - I should have him by 4:00

Rivera - Night Train - James Brown??

Dance time!

Kooky the Pig is on her way here!!

Well, if she gets here before the upcoming weekend she will not only be accompanying me to a day at work in Manhattan but she will also be going to my  nephews (twins) 13th birthday party-bbq this Saturday in upstate NY.

Sorry I missed your earlier posting, make_it_so, was watching Becoming Jane with Anne Hathaway.

Defective Rice Krispies - only goes Snap & Pop - no Crackle!

Okay, off again for a bit - c ya later! Oh and I got my 1st Tryork feedback.

Just watched Gone Baby Gone

Very well acted, too good sometimes cause it really pissed me off - it made me think quite a bit. Depressed the heck out of me, too.

If you do watch it, be prepared to be angry, have tissues nearby to cry, powerful movie. It is violent and disturbing, I had not idea what I was getting into when it started.

Just so many things go through your mind, don't want to post any spoilers for those who have not seen it.

The latest we have to contend with...

Last week, Donnie, who recently turned 22 months old, decided he could touch my clock radio when I turned around for a split second. Somehow, he hit the right button and the music started playing. He starts doing this adorable dance and I could not even get the slightest bit upset with him, the "no,no,no" I wanted to say ended up as me laughing and saying,"you are just too cute."

Apparently, a few too many of us have said this to him a few too many times.

At daycare now, whenever he is being naughty and they tell him no, he just smiles at them and says,"I'm cute."

He knows how to wrap everyone around his little fingers!

have a great night all, I am tired so if I do not respond, it is because I have given in and called it a day.

Direct from Hawaii - Coconut Creche - nativity

and it has quite a bit of activity!

hope you are all having a lovely day =0)

Can't - such a strong word!

On my train ride in this morning, I was thinking of the word "can't" as I contemplated possibly continuing my education and getting an MBA.

The word "can't" appeared - I "can't" afford the time, I could not say financially I could not do it because my company would pay...

Anyway, as an adult, "can't" should not be part of our vocabulary for ourselves. Many have it ingrained in them in their youth or by others and start to believe that they "can't".

But now look at who uses the word "can't" the most - is it those around you or you??

"I can't get a better job."

"I can't go back to school."

"I can't succeed on ebay."

etc...Yes sometimes, you really can not do something but the next time you use that word in regards to yourself, think it through and find out if it is indeed something you can do but are just afraid.

you can not succeed if you do not first try

Man has buttocks valued at £1millionBy Stephen White

Graham Butterfield

Grandad Graham Butterfield has the most valuable buttocks in Britain.

His backside is so sensitive, his bosses have insured it for £1million. As official bed bouncer, the 54-year-old gives his verdict on the quality of mattress fillings.

Graham said: "It may sound silly but my bottom is not like the normal bottom. I have increased sensitivity around the buttock area and can feel the difference in the materials used in beds. I am very proud to be the owner of a £1million backside.

"I want to make it clear that my bottom's super-powers are quite natural. I have no need of a special care regime."

The insurance price-tag matches that put on Beyonce's and J Lo's behinds. Graham's duties at Silentnight in Barnoldswick, Lancs, involve bouncing on beds and giving feedback on softness, textures and fillings. His reports help decide which beds go on the market.

He said: "It makes it all worthwhile being the butt of people's jokes - they are only jealous of my job."

Steven Simpson, manager at Silentnight, said: "The policy is worth every penny."

£3.5m The amount Bruce Springsteen's voice is insured for. Keith Richards' hands are covered to the tune of £1million.

Uh Oh I have Try bidding on the Coconut Nativity - And see our Calves Foot Jelly Jar!

I am now going to get a tried and true Tryork feedback - I have 6 days to think of what feedback I will leave him....
