We would first like to welcome all readers to our  first blog for T & A Lingerie (www.TandALingerie.com or www.TandADirect.com) and hope you keep an eye out for our future blogs.  T & A Lingerie was founded when we first realized how the plus size population was growing but the selections of items offered to the plus size community were still very limited.  The majority of women in the United States are now considered “Plus size” or “full figured” based on the standards of the sometimes twisted eyes of the fashion and entertainment  industry.  What are we teaching our children?   Are we teaching our daughters that if they develop into normal, healthy, shapely women that something is wrong with them?  Many girls are talking about being “fat” as soon as they are able to talk.  Teens are even considering plastic surgery.   The media has brainwashed our society that sickly looking, stick thin women with implants that look like two baseballs shoved under their chests are normal, sexy and beautiful  Look around at the magazines, runways,  and at the movies, when will this all change?  People are dating people based on how they look rather than who they are.  Don't people know that looks change but if you are intelligent enough to love the people for who they are you will always love them?  AT T & A Lingerie we feel that every natural woman is beautiful whether they are naturally full figured or naturally thin. We should all understand that beauty  comes in all sizes, so lets take a stand and teach our daughters (and sons) what beauty really is.  Why should normal women starve themselves and exercise to exhaustion?  We should be eating healthy and getting normal exercise for our health, not to become something we should never want to be.
