Most Recent Posts listing sale :)Posted Sep-24-08 11:03:41 PDT yesterday was a listing sale on Ebay.ca so I took advantage of it, lots and lots and lots of my lots are now up, enjoy :) ChangesPosted Aug-20-08 11:08:26 PDT In keeping with Ebay.com announced upcoming changes, I will be gradually removing Money Orders (and Checks for Canadians) as payment options in listings, leaving only Paypal as an option. I have yet to decide how to deal with the October change on Ebay.com of maximum allowable S/H based on USPS costs, as I am in Canada and have to use Canada Post, which occassionally can be up to double the new max allowable! Depends on the item. I don't really want to have a huge increase in the starting bid to cover it, and free shipping on most things I list is not a viable option for me. sigh... at least I can bet that I am NOT the only one having to mull over what to do.... summer salePosted Aug-10-08 11:01:34 PDT I went with a summer sale theme for the past week or two, everything starts at 99 cents. I'll go back to my regular lots and non-sale prices soon. My decision had less to do with the general time of summer sales slowing as they annually seem to, and more to do with the hot days here and not spending time at the computer to set up new lots. postalPosted Aug-03-08 10:22:49 PDT The good Ol' PO...I've been getting fast overseas times lately, sometimes within a week to arrival, and yet today I find that one within Canada, should have gotten there is just a few days, is overdue, MIA and most likely lost/stolen.......it's the principle of the thing that bugs me. The PO can't get it right close to home, but can a world away? On that one I even took it up to the PO to get them to weigh it and put on postage, most times now I just do that from home and drop in the PO box without a PO clerk doing the work/checking it. So the PO really dropped the ball on that one. Actually I shouldn't be so hard on our PO. A number of people have been having problems with mailing to Brazil, Italy and Taiwan, some sellers now refuse to ship to those places. I still ship anywhere WW, but it's Entirely at the bidder's risk. And what's up with stamps? There is just one generic flower one for overseas and Usa from Canada. This year they put out one other kind, Karsh portraits, but they sold out fast, so it's back to generic flower. Why can't more issues of colorful stamps also issue into the Intl and Usa denominations instead of just the Canada 52 cents or Permanent? :::::::stepping down from the soapbox::::::::: updatingPosted Jun-12-08 20:12:02 PDT Wow, last time I wrote to the blog was before Christmas...time flies when you're having fun :-) A bunch of clipping lots up this week, celebs from movies and music, past and present, also phonecard lots.
