Whoa! It's been a while!

I could try to justify the length between blog posts by telling you I've been busy. 

It's true. I have. In June 2007, my husband, dk, retired.  Having a full time husband is different.  Interesting.  Frankly, I dreaded it.  After nearly 9 years of having the house all to myself, I didn't relish the idea of sharing my space, but it's been fine.  He's helped me get organized, which is good.

On the other hand, I'm still getting used to asking permission to stop at Sonic after 34 years of driving myself and stopping for a Coke anytime I pleased.  But if that's my biggest complaint, and it is, I count myself fortunate.

I promise to do a better job of updating this blog, if only for my own amazement.
