Most Recent Posts GRATEFULNESS FOR GREATFULLNESS!Posted Nov-23-06 08:54:10 PST THE 3 "G'S" DAILY ANSWERS "THE SECRET" FOR ME - ESPECIALLY FOR THANKSGIVING:
(A writing meditation that is getting me out of my year long illusive depressed thinking)
1. GREAT EXPECTATION - IN AM, DECLARE "TODAY WILL BE A GREAT DAY!" ("greater works")
2. GREAT ATTITUDE - IDENTIFY WITH GREATNESS WITHIN! ("Be ye therefore perfect..."
3. GREAT GRATITUDE - REJOICE AND GIVE THANKS FOR TRUE LOVE! ("God is love", "Perfect love..* & "love endureth forever.")
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. -1 Corinthians 16:34
God is love........1John4:8 Be ye therefore perfect, even as thy Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48
Perfect love casts out all fear.?
AND GREATER WORK THAN THESE SHALL YE DO ALSO. 1John14:12
"Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you." Matthew 7:7
Today I ask for Love ("God is..") and know that I shall receive Love. Today I seek Love and know I shall find Love. Today I knock and know that Love shall be opened unto me."
LOVE IS BEYOND IDEAS, BEYOND CONCEPTS, BEYOND BELIEF, YET I HAVE COMPLETE FAITH IN GOD AS LOVE!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE AND HAVE A LOVE FEAST! I AM SO GRATEFUL TO YOU ALL!
"The Secret" is an outstanding film about "As thy thinketh, so shall ye be." You can look it up and pay $5.00 to see it on computer or you can buy film from website for about $35.00, and it is very inspirational - testimonies by some well known people how "positive" affirmative thinking changed their lives combining it with visualizations, prayer and meditations. Good morning - powerful words - soothing to the soul, healing to the bone!Posted Oct-29-06 04:12:24 PST Words are powerful! "A wise person's heart guides his words and their lips promote instruction. Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bone." Proverbs 16: 23-24 Repeat to yourself...."My words are powerful and I make them pleasant - like honey - soothing to the soul and healing to the bone!" Recent great feedback to my writing that are words like that! - "Please keep on writing. For those of us locked into land your writings are freedom and release of our spirit to soar. God Bless You and thanks for the book." Great and honest of course (look carefully what truth is however) is vitally important to us eBayers! All these affirmations will be part of guide....."How to be an Ebay Angel!" coming soon! Natural healing remedies used in islands!Posted Oct-28-06 06:39:04 PDT Updated Oct-28-06 06:39:39 PDT Thanks for that healing recipe (cinnamon & honey..as a Captain with no drug stores around....I found that Aloe Vera(grows naturally on the islands)for the skin sun burns, Vitamin E on tissue like lips and gums, a poultice of Vit. E oil and Golden Seal would cure saltwater wounds which regular skin antibiotic would have little effect. Real Ginger Root tea would take care of most sea sickness adding accupresssure between fingers for bad cases.......really bad, and I would attach clothes pins between fingers and fingers and thumb. Aloe is clear - clorophyll is green & is like plants blood - it does no good for sun burn, so I would cut off aloe branch and surround cut with aluminum foil until Chlorophyll would coagulate like blood. Then all there is clear odorless fluid which is the healing liquid from the Aloe plant. Chlorophyl stinky green - do not mix in with clear fluid.
Many have claimed cancer healing drinking pure aloe vera and there is shipper out of Ft. Lauderdale who used to ship gallons out very reasonably - dont know if he is still around, but what a good samaritan, as he could not make money for what he charged for it!
Sun is out this AM in coastal S.C. - bad tropical storm last nite but brought warm weather with it, rejoice & be glad in it!
Spread that loving angel dust around and allow this weekend to be a prosperous One! Get out of resorts when traveling to foreign destinations!Posted Oct-27-06 16:31:52 PDT I wrote this originally for "Americanangels" who was headed for Sri Lanka.......below is experience but I have had similar experiences at Costa Rica, Isla Mujeres (across from Cancun), San Blas Islands South of Panama, many islands in Caribbean, Bahamas, Paris, Spain, and many other places over the world Mix with the "poor", you may find them in many ways richer than the outwardly "rich" - especially the arts and crafts natives. In Bali, almost every native is in creative field at least part time - music, art, crafts, sculptors, painters, woodworkers, clothes dyers, .......in fact their whole family compounds usually specialize in some sort of creative pursuit.......in the middle of their circular compounds with a different generation for some of the houses encircling the "studio- inside and outside areas" and they are the happiest people I know but very saddened by bombing over there (from outsiders - not Balinese). They love Americans too and particularly if you want to learn from them.........so hopefully the Sri Lankans will be the same???? P.S. Being nautical, I find sailors speak the same language all over the world and received some great dolphin sails at sunset on native outriggersl Also, I have had richer friends go stay in luxury resorts and miss the whole essence of the tropical experience because they spent most of time at resort!
