Hi, hope everyone who reads this is having a great day! I am considering selling on eBay, but I am very nervous about it. So much to learn, and so much to find out as a person goes along. I sometimes feel overwhelmed with all the info. that is on eBay for a person to begin selling. Lots of questions too. I have read the info, watched the selling videos and still feel like it's a hard thing for me to get it rolling. If someone could just tell me what I should do to get started in plain simple instructions would be marvelous. I buy on eBay, but never sold on here. I guess I'm asking for the bare beginning essentials to selling through eBay. Thanks friends for any advice you can give me.

Hi friends! I have been a buyer on ebay for about 2yrs. It has been a blast to say the least. My husband wonders sometimes who told me about ebay anyway. LOL He is an understanding guy however & lets me enjoy shopping on it. However, I have toyed with the idea of selling for the past few months. The thought of doing that is a bit unerving to me. I wonder how it is all done, and can I do it right etc. I have read some of the material about becoming a seller that ebay puts out on it's site. It makes me nervous when I think about mailing items all over the place, packaging, handling the bidding set up and things of that nature. I am after a little bit of an added income to suplement ours when we retire in 4 yrs. I don't mean like thousands of dollars or anything like that. But a few hundred a month would sure help us out. Anyone out there know any pitfalls I need to not find myself in? Ideas maybe on the best way to sell an item, or how to showcase it on the site? I am full of questions and have only a few answers at this point. So if you have any advice, blog me a note LOL! And for "Pete Sakes" where's the spell checker on this thing !
