Ticks are disgusting because they latch onto our bodies and then begin to swell up like a balloon filling up with blood. A tick the diameter of a match and no thicker than a single sheet of paper will fill up to the size of a grape before they release their hold and drop off. If you have never seen a dog come running into the house with these large gray grapes hanging from his body, dropping off onto your kitchen floor to be stepped on and squashed by the four year tagging behind, leaving gooey imprint everyplace the four year old steps, you have definitely been sheltered from one of disgusting events of life.

For the ones of us that live in areas that are heavily infested with ticks we know if our dogs run the woods and tall grass we need multiple products to control the ticks.

Preventic collars are excellent additional tool to help treat tick problems. I recommend these collars because

• My favorite reason- paralyzes the tick mouth parts so he can not bite. That means if decides to get on me from dog the tick can not bite me either. because tick's mouth is paralyzed. The tick will simply starve to death.  Isn't that cool
