Gradually switching to own picture hosting!!Posted Apr-30-08 04:46:43 PDT Like I haven't got enough to do!!! I have recently been looking at the various methods of making my ebay listings more cost effective and this may not seem like a lot but all the additional pictures I put into my listings add up to a tidy sum over the course of the year. It's not like I'd go up to someone and give them a couple of 4 coin gold sets for free so the way I see it, why pay more than I have to for extra pictures to be in my listings! Hence I am gradually going to be switching all my listings over to my own hosted webspace and just wanted to let all my regular buyers and new bidders know that this means some listings will look a bit different. The ones with my own hosted pics on will not have a thumbnail at the top of the listing and all pics will be the same larger size within the description. All listings will continue to have a gallery pic and as well as the cost side the other benefit is you see bigger pics of everything! This gradual changeover will not affect the high level of service we are proud to provide our buyers - might even mean more lots on if I don't have to wait for ebay to load all the pics!
