As these blogs unfold, I think there is a great way to network with other who have the same collecting interests. I live in NE oklahoma and like to travel my area to see what's out there at estate sales, garage sales, antique malls, antique stores, and auction companies. 

I find things that there is only one of and I know at some point it was a set. I am sure there are others who have the same outcome in their adventures. So, we know our areas and where to find things. Others know their areas.

As ebay grew it showed that standard pricing would not hold up. Before ebay a value book was a good bet because in any given area there were only one or two of what you wanted and you paid what they wanted if you wanted it. Ebay open closet doors and attics all over America and showed there were thousands of these things and you could better with the price.

Using the buy it now on ebay, perhaps we can be on the lookout for other interests in our areas.
