Fake Classic Car Auctions

When I'm not slaving away selling tires on Ebay, I restore Chrysler products. I am also a newsletter editor for a major Chrysler Club. Lately, I've seen a rash of fake auctions on Ebay involving mostly Chrysler products. They usually involve a car that was already listed or sold by the REAL owner several months prior. The asking price is usually ridiculously low; one crook was trying to get $9500 for a Chrysler 300G convertible that was previously in the $90,000 range. Obviously when you send a deposit to one of these dudes, you can kiss it good bye.

I don't know how they do it, I guess they have a rash of crook friends with credit cards and keep registering over and over as an Ebay user. Just be careful, read my MoPar guides and don't send anybody any money until you're sure what you're getting into.

... not every country eBay serves requires credit info to set up a username. Or, users keep ridiculously simplistic passwords that are cracked.
