Most Recent Posts shipping timePosted Jun-09-08 06:14:42 PDT I ship daily mon-sat, always between the times of 8:30am est. to 10:00am est. If I recieve payments before those times your package will be shipped that day, any payments recieved after 10am est will be shipped the next day. I'm thinking of going to a mon, thurs, sat or mon, wed, fri shipping schedule. As high as gas prices are it doesn't make sense to be going to the post office every day. I'm going to think about this one before implementing it. My wife also sells on ebay and she ships every day, we'll have to discuss it and see what's best. I would hope not to get any negative feedback if I go to this schedule. But right now I'm just thinking about it. shippingPosted Jun-02-08 08:21:39 PDT To save you and me money I try to ship everything possible in bubble mailers first class mail. The shipping price on this varies somewhat but not too much. For the smallest items it's usually in the $1.17 to $1.40 range. For larger items it can get over $2. That's why I set my potential bubble mailer shipping at $1.50. Even if it's in the first range the cost of the mailer will bring it up above $1.50. And if it's over the $1.50 well that's a win for you. I'm still not a good judge on boxed items, when I first started selling I overcharged a little for some items cause I wasn't sure what to put the shipping at. Now I have a good idea and don't put my shipping price to high, an extra 50 cents or $1 that I have to spend on my end once in a while is not that big a deal. I hope that anyone who deals with me understands certain extra costs that are involved and realize I'm not trying to screw anyone on shipping. |
