Chris' Random Ramblings

Big Brother 10 July 15th

Wow - So talk about being cocky and thinking that you are controling the game. Steven has come out playing the game from day one, setting up alliances and thinking that he has all the power. Way too strong to start out if you ask me. I mean the way he was talking to people asking them to help keep him off the block later in the game if he made sure they were safe. I was hoping someone would call him out and ask what he meant by HE will keep them safe! Please!

So the veto competition was set up where players had to crawl through a river of 'honey', climb into a huge bed full of pillows, grab a pillow that matched the color p.j.'s they were wearing, and rip open the pillows to find the stuffed veto bears. Once they found one they had to crawl back through the honey and place the bear in one of five jars. If they filled up their jar first they won the POV. Sounds like it would be easy but it turns out it was much harder than it looked. The honey BB had made seemed to be thick, almost like tar. They could barely crawl though the stuff! I think poor Renny only made it through one time! Of course they all ended up with  feathers stuck everywhere too. Jessie and Memphis were the two best players - but in the end Jessie ended up winning the veto, so he will no doubt take himself off the block.

Of course right after the comp Brian goes to Jerry in the HOH room and says that Memphis has to be put up. Then later Ollie is talking to Keesha, April and Libra telling them they are safe - Brian walks in and confirms that they are in fact safe and Memphis will be the one going home this week.  As soon as the girls are alone they start talking about how Brian is more or less trying to run the game and how he is trying to play like Dr. Will from seasons 2. It's pretty obvious now Brians plan is quickly falling apart.

April and Libra end up confronting Ollie about whether he is aligned with Brian. April is upset because she has feelings for Ollie and she thinks that he is using her. He ends up telling them exactly what Brians plan is. Ollie in turn tells Memphis and soon after they tell everyone in the house what Brian has been up to. They decide that all the house except for Brian need to get Jerry and tell him he has to put Brian up. Of course when they do this Jerry sort of takes it as a threat that if he doesn't do what they want they will get rid of him. I still don't know how they ended up doing this without Brian noticing they were all gone.

At the veto ceremony Jessie takes himself off the block. Jerry makes his speech and calls Brian out saying that 8 people from the house came to him and he was going to honor who they want gone from the house. Brian ended the show saying that he was shocked Jerry betrayed him and that "the Player got played."

Definitely a good show tonight. If tonights episode is any indication of how the seasons going to be I think BB has picked some great houseguests! I thought I was going to like Brian based on the first show but after tonight I am not so sure. It just might be more interesting if he stays though. I also have started to like Renny a little more too. Of course if you have read my Big Brother After Dark followings you know you learn alot more about the people and see how they really act. Based on that Michelle has turned into my least favorite for now.

So what did you think of the show? Who is turning into your favorite player - or least favorite player? Who do you hope goes home?
