Day I don't know, uh oh confusion has set in!

I really don't know what day it is on my new adventure of being an ebay store owner, I have gone to google and set up a base account, don't know how to set up the feed to get my stuff over there....hmmmm, I've set up an account with auctiva, sweet on the picture deal there and the charges can't be beat, (0.00) hmmmm, I have read a couple of other bloggers and I think I might have missed a strike but that could have been before I opened the store, wonder who was striking....hmmmm. So I don't know if I have time to breath or learn anything new about the business of running an ebay store. Oh yeah, did I tell you that I have a physical location store in Waynesville and that I also kinda sorta do another stores ebay store....hmmmm, I am also a web designer and need to update that stores web page...what was that...take the time to breathe...ok...any advice that could be given on anything contained above would be greatly appreciated...oh yeah did I mention that I still think of this whole thing as an adventure and that I am having a ball of fun that's right not wax FUN! thanks for listening, or reading, or you know...(:-)

Day 6 of my new Adventure

Thank you so much for the comments following my last posting concerning Turbo Lister. I do plan on trying this selling tool because I try everything once! :) On day 6 I have managed to add 6 new items, leave a feedback for my 1 buyer, (YEAH) and try to figure out what direction my store will take. Thinking this may be an ongoing process. Well, thanks for listening or reading or you know. :)

Day 3 of my new adventure.

Hello, I'm not really Margaret but she was such a fixture of my childhood that I feel closely related! I opened an ebay store 3 days ago, my first day I had no products listed but I had my store, with a name and everything, Christine's Attic Treasures (I'm Christine). I don't know what I was so afraid of in opening this store but I was. Ebay made my life and times on my first day very easy, thank you ebay.

Day 2: I listed a variety of objects (10) and felt that I had accomplished moving a small hill! :) I sold my first object on Day 2/3. WOW, I couldn't believe it. By selling this object it has given me the courage to think about what my 300 catagories should be and to start clicking pictures of the 3000 items that I will list. Oh yeah, did I tell you that I might have been a little overwhelmed by the sheer numbers there? Well I was. But as I come back to the real world and realize that Rome wasn't built in a day, and that even God took seven days, I might have to give myself a break and slow down and build my store consistently with quality products at good prices.

I do have a question if anybody could help, how do you use Turbo Lister, is it worth the time to learn it, and how does it differ in creating templates on ebay sell tab.

thanks for listening! Margaret
