Archive - May 2008 It's been a Wonderful YearPosted May-29-08 10:39:25 PDT It's been a great year. I made two of my goals toward being a good seller in my first year here! I eclipsed the $1000 dollar mark for my eBay sales monthly average and have earned and maintained a PowerSeller status. Last week I received my 1000th feedback point! I have really tried to give great customer service and I think my feedback chart statistics reflect my service as a priority. I want to thank my family, my suppliers, the USPS, and all of my blogger and seller friends who have encouraged and helped me get here. Bless you all and good luck in all you do. For the fourth time in my life I will celebrate this Mother's Day without my mother. The woman who had the most influence in my life passed away on June 3rd, 2004.
It has been said that the loss of a parent is one of life's most traumatic events. I have been told that in time, the pain will fade, only to be replaced with positive memories of my mother. I can't seem to feel that happening yet. My mother and I had a very loving relationship. She was my best and most trusted friend. She was a very warm soul, full of wisdom and strength. Although my mother was a stay at home mom, she still attended college and took many additional classes in order to better herself. She felt that the more educated she was, the better she could care for her family. My Mom has left a rainbow of beauty across the many hearts she touched. She spent her entire life dedicated to God and singing in church, so we know she is in a wonderful place with him. May she rest in peace yet enjoy every moment of the wonders of eternal life. Mom, I miss you....
