He was instructed to send payment via a Western Union money order. Thankfully he did not mail payment to the email originator, as this is a scam. The City of Salisbury does not offer "2nd chance offers". If an item is sold, and the winning bidder defaults on payment, we will re-list the item, but we WILL NOT send out 2nd chance offers. We will also NEVER ask for payment to be mailed. The only forms of payment we accept are PayPal for items requiring shipment, and cash / credit cards / checks / PayPal (pre-paid before pick up) on items that you would like to pick up. If you receive one of these messages, or any other emails that you think looks suspicious, please forward them to eBay's fraud management division at spoof@ebay.com.
